Traditional Lima City Tour

This tour will offer you a basic overview of Lima's historial past in three different eras, Pre-Hispanic, Colonial, and Modern. You will discover the rich indigenous influence and the mark that has been left on the city by visiting ruins left behind by the Incan empire located right in the middle of Lima's financial district. The colonial past of the city is seen virtually everywhere with buildings that boast wooden balconies, colonial decor, and central plazas with magnificent European style layouts. The last stop of the tour will bring you to modern day times where you will visit neighborhoods where the high socitey of Lima now reside, many descendants from the city's colonial elite.

Colonial Lima: You will visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will experience more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others. You will also visit the Banco Central de Reserva Museum, where we will admire the “Treasures of Perú” Collection, a fine selection of objects made of gold, ceramics and textiles from different pre-columbian cultures.
