Peruvian Paso Horse Exhibition at Hacienda Los Ficus

The Los Ficus Hacienda is owned and operated by a well known Limeño family. The first idea to build their hacienda was to have suitable stables for their horses as this is where their true passion lies. They have now opened the hacienda to the public to offer horse exhibitions and educate visitors on the Peruvian Paso Horse. Their passion for this breed shows in their horse show and ambiance they have created especially for these beautiful animals. You will enjoy getting out of the metropolis of Lima and seeing the countryside and a national icon of Peru, the Peruvian Paso Horse. A truly cultural and unique experience!

Tour starts at 11:30am and lasts for around 4 and a half hours.

You will picked up from your hotel and transported to the Lurin Valley around 45 minutes outside of Lima. Here you will visit the Hacienda "Los Ficus" owned and operated by a well known Limeño family that breeds and shows Peruvian Paso horses. You will be given a tour of the hacienda then enjoy an explanation of this breed of horse while having a horse show demonstrating the different saddling stages of the horses life. There is also a Marinera demonstration, a folk dance from the northern coast of Peru. After the show ends you will get a chance to ride a Peruvian Paso horse yourself! Enjoy a very smooth horseback ride while learning how to lead the horse by slightly pulling on the reigns. An incredible once in a life time experience!
