Inca Trail 4D/4N (backpacker):
“A wonderful experience retracing the steps (a lot of them!) of the ancient Incas to Machu Picchu. Reaching the sun gate of MP truly makes all the 4 days of hiking worthwhile. A great way to reach Machu Picchu and the only hike that ends directly in MP (at sunrise). Be prepared for sore, tired legs, and a memory card full of wonderful photo memories! Food was amazing (cook managed to make a cake since it was somebody's birthday!), camping gear was great and tents/sleeping bags were super comfortable, guides and porters were so friendly and we had so much fun with them at night.” - Sean Huntington, USA
Sacred Valley + Machu Picchu Package 4D/4N:
“We had 3 excellent days on the guided tour in the Sacred Valley. The accommodation in Urubamba was the best hotel we have ever experienced, the five stars are not a star too many. The different tours were amazing, and at the same time the guide was very friendly and helpful. Can only recommend this tour...” - Kasper Hansen, Denmark
Cusco Welcome Package:
“The Casa The Campo hotel was a very nice experience, The staff was very friendly and both nights during our stay we sat on the great patio and enjoyed the great view over the city and the mountains. An excellent way to reflect over the many impressions one get in such historical area. The hotel's outdoors areas are nice and spacious, with a hint of local cultural expressions. The room was fine and functional, with excellent warm duvets, which really came in handy in the cold nights.” - Kasper Hansen, Denmark
Lima City Tour:
“I had a great time walking around Lima's downtown - it's like a stroll through the past (with a lot more traffic!). The colonial downtown is such a contrast from the modern city of Lima. I especially loved visiting the San Francisco Church's underground catacombs with skeletons. The guide was very friendly, super informative, and entertaining.” - Miles Logan, USA
Classic Sacred Valley Tour:
"Our stay in Cusco was also top class, both for the content of the exciting places, which we visited, but also due to the tender and kindness, which our guide Erick and the driver showed us.
Overall I have been very very satisfied with Peru Experience, both before coming but also during our trip. The support we got during our stay in Peru, is something that I have never experienced with any travel agency. It was a very positive experience. The help we got, when we came back to Lima and needed to change our tour was also absolutely fantastic.
We had a fantastic trip to Peru, and we have so many good experiences and memories from the country, together with a lot of fantastic images, that I have stored in my memory, not being possible to be reproduce these as photos. This means that we will never ever forget Peru.
And our good memories are mixed with the knowledge that Peru Experience made it possible for us to experience so many things without having to worry about anything, because everything was taken care of on beforehand." - Jette Thøgersen, Denmark
Lima Welcome Package (silver):
“This charming hotel is centrally located in Miraflores. It is hard to believe that you are just steps away from one of the main avenues in Miraflores, Larco. It is very close to shopping centers, banks, and lots of restaurants. It is quiet, secluded, and has a great courtyard. That’s one of my favorite parts of the hotel. You can sit there and work outside on your laptop, read, and hang around and chat. There are always people there from all nationalities, and it is a very friendly and comfortable place. The rooms are nice, and you always get hot water. If you need anything, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It feels like the old Miraflores used to be, a colonial home with the conveniences of today. The owner is always around; he is very pleasant and is also a traveler and adventurer. The restaurant is always open, so if you don’t feel that day like wandering around you can order anything on the menu and they will prepare it right there. They have a small bar too. You are steps away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, and yet, it feels like you are out in a countryside villa. It is my favorite place to stay in Lima.” - Ivonne Vailakis
Tambopata Rainforest 4D/3N:
“My experience at Posada Refugio was amazing. The jungle was so beautiful and the lodge seemed to fit right in. It had as little walls as possible, only for privacy reasons on the rooms, so you could see the jungle everywhere you looked. There were often lizards, birds and jungle animals hanging around next to the lodge. The common space was very relaxing. It was a great place to meet and chat with fellow junglers in the evenings. There were tables and chairs to hang out at near the bar and couches and hammocks to lounge in. The bar even offered free popcorn which was awesome!
The hammocks were super comfortable and were perfect for mid-afternoon naps. There was no electricity at night, so you had to use a flashlight. It created a wonderful feeling of being away from civilization and part of the jungle. The food was great. The chef did a great job of serving authentic peruvian food and there was never a shortage. There was also a coffee and tea station that was available 24 hours per day. The only thing that the lodge could have improved was activities for rainy days.” - Angela Pedalty, USA
