Larco Museum Tour

Considered a must- see by all editors and travel experts, and undoubtedly one of the best museums in Latin America. This attraction is located in a colonial mansion of the eighteenth century, built on a pre-Columbian the seventh century, the Larco Museum Pyramid is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Your new galleries exhibit the best and most complete collection of pre-Columbian gold and silver from Peru in the world; as well as its famous collection of erotic pottery.

ITINERARY

Day 1

We will pick you up at around 9:15 – 9:45 a.m. to begin yout Larco Museum Tour in Lima.

 

You will start your tour off in the morning at the Larco Museum. The museum is located in a colonial building that dates back to the 18th century, and was built on a pre-Columbian pyramid from the seventh century.

 

Here you will be able to view galleries displaying 3,000 years of development of pre-Columbian history. This includes gold, silver and an exhibition of eroctic pottery.

 

The tour lasts for approximately 3 hours, and after you will be taken back to your hotel. You will be back at your hotel around 12:30 – 1 p.m.
